porems.generic.alkane(length, name='alkane', short='ALK', is_h=True)¶

This function generates linear alkane molecules.

Parameters:

lengthinteger: Number of carbon atoms
namestring, optional: Molecule name
shortstring, optional: Molecule short name
is_hbool, optional: True if hydrogens are to be added

Returns:

molMolecule: Molecule object
